well i am using a windows xp system and connecting to INTERNET using mobile modem. when i CONNECT to internet using my phone their is a icon that glows at the notification area and it verifies that i am connected but when i open my browser(firefox 5) there is a blank white screen that states that i am not connected . guys please helphttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/870702well that link was for wireless connection but i am connecting using my phone by attaching a wire to it.anyone?Did it worked before? Can you provide the Phone model/brand to verify the internet connection features for your mobile device.yes it did. i have recently installed a new OS (xp) and after that the problem started. my phone is Samsung Monte GT S5620I would suggest using another browser. Chrome or Opera. Since Firefox 5 is the latest VERSION you have installed on your XP system. Any other internet activities that will confirm that its just the browser or an overall system connection problem? The reliability of this TYPE of connection is unknown to my preferences.i have tried opera and IE too but it is the same problem
