Solve : Unable to access windows that open new page? |

Answer» Unfortunately my PC will no longer OPEN pages when I click on a link. There are no problems surfing the net as long as the link does not try and open a new page. This means I can no longer log into my banking, or book FLIGHTS through my frequent flyer program. I have had a look through the 'Internet Option' and can't see anything that would be BLOCKING this. I have also tried resetting everything to the original setings but without any luck. Removing the Popup blocker does not fix the problem. Please help!!!!!!!!What browser are you using? Example: Internet Explorer 7 or FirefoxInternet Explorer 6What HAPPENS if you right click a link and select open in a new page ? ?When I right click and open in new window it works for links that are currently opening, however, for links that are not opening it opens the existing page, not the next one.Do you have any IE add-ons? Go to "tools/add-ons" Try and disable any addons. Also, do you have any 3rd party toolbars? Go to "view/toolbars" Disable all that. I recommend using Firefox.Thanks heaps rasilun, disabling the IE add-ons worked. Nice work, rasilun... Flipper... Which add-ons did you disable...or did you disable all of them? BTW...Firefox is a great browser...I USE it myself in addition to IE...however, it's not the answer for all IE problems. For instance...someone posts having a problem with IE...then some one chimes in..."Use Firefox!" That's all "well-and-good"...but have you helped with their IE issue...as rasilun did? Though rasilun made the same comment, he took it a step further and helped Flipper wit the issue...well done! I currently work in Tech Support... I'm use to troubleshooting this way.
