Solve : Unable to load/view specific websites? |

Answer» I am unable to open some specific websites. I have tried using IE,FIREFOX and CHROME. I have tried using my desktop, laptop, android phone(laptop and phone wifi). The websites are : http://store.steampowered.com/ , http://www.homeshop18.com/ , http://www.speedtest.net/ . There are other websites also. my modem is NETGEAR n150. Please help.Please avoid posting links if possible. The U.S. HOUSE introduced a rogue websites bill to force Internet Service Providers to make a list of banned websites and prevent access to their sites...And the list goes on... Just say "List Banned Web Sires" But i COULD access these websites previously. I shifted to a new place and got new model and new connection. And those websites dont have a reason to be blocked.How far? Which Service Provider? FYI: Some websites block the provider,m not the other way around. Some providers use IPs that got a bad reputation for SPAM,DOS, and other bad things. To check it out, use a proxy server to see if you can get into a site. At one TIME my own site was blocked and the host said it was my IP that did it. So I had to use some other method to take control of my site get my data and move it to abetter host. Easier to change a host than t a local provider. The whole thing about who blocks who and why is senseless. You can get blocked because somebody else also has your IP Andres. That is one of the reasons they want to get away from PP4 and do it all with IP6. Fir more help, go to the WOT site. They will help you understand the issues about hostile websites.
