Answer» I have a 500GB USB drive plugged into a Netgear C7000 Router.
When I LOG into the router via a BROWSER (i.e., 192.168.0.1), I can see the drive, its ADDRESS, and its folders.
When I go to "Networks" in Windows EXPLORER, I can see the name of the drive.
When I double-click on the drive in Networks, I get a "Cannot connect to "drive message.
If I edit the name(s) in the browser window, and go back into Explorer, its Fonzie.
But when I reboot, the issue returns.
I had this very same drive and this very same router plugged into a different network a few months ago, and it was ALWAYS Fonzie. I have changed the name of the drive (from "RJB-MediaDrive" to "DB-Media") but other than that.
Weird, right?
