Solve : VPN Disconnects.?

Not sure if I am in the right place.  I am trying to connect to my work computer via SonicWall Global VPN.  I have a Netopia modem (if that matters).  I keep getting disconnected every 2-3 minutes. Please help.  I have way too much work to do (yes on a Friday night).  My IT guy at work has no clue--says everything is fine on his end, he cloud connect with no problems.  Not sure if it is related, but I ALSO can not get a wireless router to work.  I have DSL & Windows Vista (not sure that matters either.)  Please help!!!!!!!! google "VPN troubleshooting"

Since you are able to connect for a certain amount of time, it sounds like a software problem.  Try reinstalling SonicWall Global VPN

If that does you no good, run an anti-virus scan, and try disabling non-microsoft services or "start-up" programs to help ISOLATE the issue..There may be a service or program interfering with your VPN application

If you're not sure how to disable services or start up items LET me KNOW...Does the computer you're connecting to disconnect fomr the internet? Try doing the VPN and monitor it to see if it disconnects from the internet when it's downloading/uploading too much. It could be a problem with the ethernet/wireless adapter drive.
