Solve : VPN or Remote Access question??

Answer» HELLO, I was wondering if someone could help me with a VPN question?

I have a Windows VPN set up with my home computer and my work computer.  I can connect fine, I was wondering if there was a way to tranfer files from my home computer to my work computer or vice versa?

Example: if I have a MS Word document on my home computer, can I also save it on my work computer?

Both computers are using Windows XP.

Thanks for any help, tips or direction you can give me. wouldn't you rather mail it? AND YES! You could use VPN software like HAMACHI.It would be easier to buy a USB Flash Drive. A couple Gig Bytes for a few bucks. You store all your important Info on one Device and take it from place to place.  Thanks, but I have a flash drive, but I only go to the office one day a week and I can't wait a week to get something there, so I can either fax it off, or whatever I need to do with it.

I can't email it, because my dsl does not work when I'm dialed into my work computer.  If you can fix that, then maybe I could email it.  But that would be easier to do.  I'll look into the software you suggested.

I read some where (but I can't find the site again) that is was possible to either copy and paste and/or transfer the files between the two computers.  And that's what I was wondering if anyone could help me with.

Today I figured out how to print from my machine to my work machine, but it's a PAIN to do.

Thanks for the help guys. You should use synchronization software IMO. This way you dont have to do anything but turn your machines on. XPPRO has it BUILT in, but I dont like it. Someone the other day pointed me to www.syncback.com. I dont use it myself but others tend to love it.
