Answer» I set up OpenDNS on my HOME network of three computers about six months ago via the Belkin 54g wireless router. I did not change any settings on the individual computers (at least I don't remember doing that).
At the OpenDNS website I set up an account and set content screening to "minimal" (protection against phishing only).
This worked FINE until today when suddenly sites like youtube and the Internet Movie Data Base are COMING up as blocked by OpenDNS.
I logged into OpenDNS and tried to reset my content screening levels but it doesn't seem to be taking. I tried "NONE", "minimal" and "custom".
Why would this suddenly HAPPEN?
I am the administrator on all the computers in my network. All are using XP SP3. Does it happen with all three computers?Yes.Okay, I don't what's going on. As suddenly as this problem popped up yesterday afternoon it is gone now. All the sites I noticed being blocked are back in view. This happened sometime in the last few hours.
