Solve : Wifi internet connection authenticating problem?

I have a laptop that connects to the internet fine
I had a Samsung S3 which also connected wifi to TPG fine but is dead and buried now

I have replaced the S3 with a Cube Tablet which seems GOOD except when I TRIED contacting TPG wifi it shows AUTHENTICATING PROBLEM

I Googled it and it seems a very common problem without an answer
