Solve : Wifi Shuts Down Mac/PC?

Answer»

I have a DSL MODEM with a PC hardwired and multiple items hooked up by wifi (laptops, kids ipods, phones, ETC.).  At least twice DAILY the wifi goes down.  Nobody (not one of us) can use their wireless items, but my PC will STILL work fine.  If I go down and unplug the modem and plug it back in to reset it, it usually is fine for a few hours.   Can anyone tell what is going on? Thats what happens when a router gets old from its internal heating and use. And you seem to have a full household using it. Theres nothing you can do other than updating the firmware to see if it's a bug or simply replacing it.

Before I was recommending Cisco and dlink LIKE most people but now I recommend TP-Link business lines (not the 30$ consumer ones) exactly because of that problem. They are more resistant to aging.
