Solve : Will 2 go into 1??

Answer»

I have two identical BT Home Hub 2 's that I wish to connect to the one incoming phone line to enable me to get wireless signals to a greater area by having each Hub situated in different parts of the HOUSE. Singlely each hub works perfect, both having its own 'key'. however, when connected tgether through a two way splitter at the same time, they will not connect to the BT, both having the 'Broadband' lights flashing AMBER. Is there any way to connect both at the same time please? You can''t do this. They aren't "identical"; they have unique hardware IDS and only one at a time will work on your line.
Thanks, that is just what I didn't want to hear. Is there any way to connect one hub THROUGH the on line hub to INCREASE the range? ie. feeding the second hub from one of the SPARE yellow sockets on the 'live' hub?
