Answer» OK, well, this didnt last very long sadly. Guess I will have to stick to wired - not using WEP, its too loose. Geek 9pm, I shut off auto tuning and Remote Differential Compression after researching the problem - apparently it can negatively effect system resources. I clicked on your link, it was the same one I found. Callum. I think it may be something to do with the router IM using - maybe theres something WRONG with it, I dont know. Will research it.OK, well, back on wireless now - think it may have been a firmware issue. It wouldnt update directly from the router screen so I downloaded an instance of the same firmware from the netgear site. I notice that there are differences between American firmware and the rest of the world, so maybe we got one with american firmware, or maybe it was just faulty. But, for now, EVERYTHING seems to be working once again. Long may it continue!
