Answer» I'm having troubles connecting my WIRELESS DESKTOP to the internet. It says the signal is good, but when I try to go on the internet nothing happens. I looked around trying to solve the problem,but I can't, and some people said something about getting an IP of 169.xxx.xxx.xxx is bad and I have that IP for that computer right now. Anyhelp would be appreciated! Alright I'm using a wireless ROUTER I just reformatted my computer because of a virus and reinstalled the CARD thing, I'm also getting an IP of 169.xxx.xxx.xxxit would best to tell your setup....modem to wireless router... if so what wireless router, and is the setup correct..if you do windows key r, cmd then ipconfig /all what do you get for an ip address? or are you getting one at all??? more info needed I think...IMO
