Solve : wireless is connected but none of my browers are working.?

I have a HP laptop and my wireless is connected to my computer but foxfire or explorer will not run it says "unable to connect.  but my yahoo messenger works and I can only pull up ONE web site other than that nothing. When I go on to my moms computer hers is working.
I tried unplugging my modem and my linksys router still nothing.

The only think I can think of what it MIGHT be is we got a new modem from comcast the other day and that's when all this started.Please download MiniToolBox and run it.
