ok was at my college yesterday and when i connected to the wireless network it SAYS i DIDNT have an default gateway.. but a few minutes later one magically was established. this happened in the library. then i shut the laptop down then went to CLASS and turn it back on and connected to the network the same one but this time it said something disconected  see attached info.Are you USING a list of prefered wireless networks?nope just the one card that came with my laptopI'm not talking of a card.

It sounds to me like you were trying to use the wrong details to connect to the network. Make sure you've chosen the right profile.ok should i just delete that profile and let remake it ??That's what I'd do.
