Answer» I have three computers. They are CONNECTED with a wireless router. 2 are hardwired. 1 is wireless. The wireless one is able to use the internet connection, but I can't share files. The other two CAN.
What am I missing please?
Thanks, JoeWhat operating systems: Windows XP? Home Edition or Professional? Original, Service Pack 1 (SP1), or SP2?
What is the make and model number of the wireless router?
All three have internet access thru the wireless router?
You want the computer on the wireless connection to share files with the two wired computers and vice versa?
Windows XP Home Edition uses "simple" file sharing. With Windows XP Professional you MAY either use "simple" file sharing or "advanced" file sharing (which PROVIDES greater control over who has access to the shared files).
