There may also be a way for you to INCREASE your routers wireless signal strength, but you will need to find that in the manual for the router. If it's SIMPLY a matter of distance there isn't much we can do for you.I also had a similar problem, but i bought a wireless booster and the wireless signal got stronger. Also make sure your wireless network is secure, if other people in the neighborhood are using it, the strength of your signal will diminish. Quote from: mkimbiaji on November 19, 2010, 02:42:17 PM

Pure Rubbish.Yeh your garage must be blocking the signal out, which doesn't suprise me if it's made out of the same stuff ours is ... If you use your laptop in your garage a lot it may be worth looking at getting a Wireless Access Point / Signal Booster / Repeater that is positioned closer to the garage to boost the signal.

Before you go out and buy something to boost the signal, just try moving your Router to where you would put whatever hardware you would be buying and see if you can get a signal in your garage then, if you can get a signal then an access point should definately work, if you can't get a signal then you may need to think about a potential wired solution.
