Answer» Hey everyone im trying to gather some information for a friend .
He has a wireless connection and is a extreme gamer he gets bad signal when PLAYING online games he also lags quite badly so he wants to be able to switch from wireless to wired is this possible , ive got as much information as i can . SEE below
Router - westell 327W
laptop - dell latitude D610
X-p Pro.
If he can what does he need to buy or how can this be made possible.

If you need more information i will gladly ask him .
All he would need to do is buy an Ethernet cable and connect his Latitude to the router via Ethernet.
Then any configuration changes made on the wireless card, i.e. IP addresses, etc, would need to also be applied to the Ethernet connection.
It's FAIRLY easy anyway, and a GOOD way to reduce lag.
