Answer» I'm trying to connect my XBOX live through my laptop but the IP test fails every time. I've called microsoft 7 times in the past day and a half and have GOTTEN a different ANSWER everytime. The only I made progress with was one who told me I had to share my network connections. Well, I figured out how to do that, the connections are SHARED but the problem still exists, and this is really frustrating me. Laptop is connected through a linksys router btw. ANY ideas/help? Thanks in advance.why do you want to GO though your laptop? Can't you connect the Xbox to the router?
