He was a hero because he FOUGHT for the freedom of India against British rule. He helped in BRINGING about a SOCIAL revolution. He motivated the people by being a leader and a ray of light for them. He represented their THOUGHTS. He was a voice. He was known as shaheed, i.e. a MARTYR. He died at the hands of British officers. |
