∵ Standard enthalpy of formation of one mole of ethane = -84.7 kJ

∴ Standard enthalpy of formation of 3.333 mole of ethane = -84.7 kJ/mol x 3.333 mol

= -282.31 kJ

Hence, enthalpy change for the formation of 0.1 kg ethane will be -282.31 kJ.
