Answer» I agree with yogita ingle ....Adding to what she wrote I would like to say that the work of long-branched nerve cell is to take messages to the brain and bring message to receptor organs.. Nerve cells are usually very long and branched so that it helps in transmission of signals or electrical impulses over all parts of the body. They divide and re-divide and so cover a large surface area of the body and every portion receives the signals from the central nervous system. |
