1.	State the disadvantages of labelling.
Answer» Disadvantage of labelling are : `(i)` For an illiterate population, it is of no use. `(ii)` It increases the cost of the product, since labelling involves expenditure on the part of the manufacturer. `(iii)` Labelling is effective only where goods are standardised. `(iv)` It enables the customer to weigh and compare the advantages of products before they are used. This ultimately ends in discarding of one product in favour of the other.
