Streamline flow of the liquid is the flow in which every particle of the liquid follows the same path as the path of the preceeding particle and has the same velocity as that of the preeding particle while crossing through the same points. Two streamlines can never cut each other. When a liqui moves randomly or in irregular manner such that its velocity becomes greater than the critical velocity than the flow is turbulent flow. Critical velocity is given by v_(c)=(K eta)/(pr). For liquids having Reynold number greater than 3000 the flow is |
