1.

Suppose you invest 5,000 at 10% simple interest how much money will you have after 5 years?

Answer» = 5000 + (5000 x 10/100) 5

= 5000 + 2500

= 7000

Given,

P = 5000,

R = 10%,

Time = T = 5 years

S.I. for 5 years = S.I = \(\frac{PRT}{100}\)

\(\frac{5000\times 10\times 5}{100}\)

= Rs. 2500.

Money after 5 years = P + S.I.

= 5000 + 2500

= Rs. 7500.
