The address is a story of human predicament that follows war , comment

Answer» Yes, I strongly agree to the statement. The story "The Address" by Margo Minco revolves around a young woman who after the second World War goes in search of an Address, "No. 46, Marconi street", where all her belonging s were shifted to during the prewar times. The story clearly highlights on how, even after a war has got over, the mental trauma in the hearts of survivors continue to haunt their lives. The girl had to undergo several losses due to the tremendous effects of the war, she lost her loving family, caring relatives, good memories and a once beautiful past which was simply destroyed by the war. Whenever mankind undergoes crises, the complete human perspective changes and thereby, materialistic losses lose priority and emotional pasts take over the minds of survivors.
