Answer» let the age of Ramesh mother be x,and the age of Ramesh be y. when the age of Ramesh mother is four times the age if Ramesh then,y=4x --------(1) when the age of Ramesh mother is thrice the age of Ramesh but after 5 years then,(y+5)=3(x+5)y+5 = 3x + 153x - y =5 - 153x - y = -10from equation (1) we get that 3x - (4x) = -103x - 4x = -10-x = -10x = 10therefore y = 4x = 4(10) = 40. therefore Ramesh mother age is 40 while Ramesh age is 10. |
