Let the number of bulbs produced by the company on 7 days of weeks is a₁ + a₂ + a₃ + a₄ + a₅ + a₆ + a₇respectively.

Average of bulbs produced in the whole week = (a₁ + a₂ + a₃ + a₄ + a₅ + a₆ + a₇) / 7 = 500

⇒ a₁+ a₂+ a₃+ a₄+ a₅+ a₆+ a₇= 3500

According to question; per day production is increased by 15% the total number of bulbs is ⇒ 3500 + 15% of 3500

⇒ 3500 + 525

⇒ 4025

New average = 4025 / 7

⇒ 575
