Answer» (a) For discharging circuit i = i0 e–t/τ => 1 = 2e–0.1/τ => (1/2) = e–0.1/τ => ℓn (1/2) = ℓn(e–0.1/τ) => –0.693 = –0.1/τ => τ = 0.1/0.693 = 0.144 = 0.14. (b) L = 4 H, i = L/R => 0.14 = 4/R => R = 4/0.14 = 28.57 = 28Ω. |
