Answer» The DISTRICT PRIMARY Education PROGRAMME was undertaken to provide primary education universally and also to revamp the old pattern of primary education system. It was established in the year 1994. This is an initiative which runs by the PARTICIPATION of both Central Government and State Government. 85% of the funds are extended by the central government and the remaining 15% by state government. It undertakes civil, management and improvement in the quality aspects of the educational institutes.
