The manner in which he spats Marvel while he was talking to the old mariner is humbiliating.The invisible man is guided in his actions by his overheating nature and false ego. The stealing of people’s money by employing invisibility to his advantage lowers him further in the eyes of the reader. His heartless, selfishness, ruthlessness and greed make him appear to be such a vicious villain who can go to to any extent to fulfil his unending desires.
