  • The Meena tribe was declared as a criminal tribe.
  • After the establishment of " Kachwaha Dynasty", the Meena tribe was divided into two branches namely 
  1. Zamindar Meena
  2. Chowkidar Meena
  • As per the criminal tribe act, all the men and women of the Meena tribe were asked to mark attendance at the local police station on daily basis.
