1.

The perimeter of two Squares are 2m and 2.8m. Find the perimeter of a square whose area is equal to the sum of areas of these two Squares

Answer»

2 m is equal to 200 CM

2.8 m is equal to 280 cm

Perimeter of square = 4 x side

side of first square = 200/4 = 50 cm

side of second square = 280 /4 = 70 cm

AREA of square = 2500 and 4900

sum of area = 2500 + 4900 = 7400

side of area = √7400 = 86.023

perimeter = 4 x 86.023 = 344.092 cm
