The Public Health system in India is in dire-state. The companies supplying the medicines, drugs, the surgical and the related items are doing whopping business at the expense of the bureaucracy. The companies are charging hefty amounts for their supplies and are also involved in favoritism from the officials. The public health machinery-comprising the hospitals at district, taluka and village levels are running with less employees than required, the administrative machinery is not efficient. The district level hospitals are crowded perennially. The attitude of the employees towards the patients, and their care-takers / families is not good. Many times the medicines are found to be obsolete. In the wake of this, the Central Govt. has announced several high-class hospitals in the state (Maharashtra). Due to seasonal changes and the dirty and polluted atmosphere/ environment people die from the various infections like dengue, swine flu, malaria etc. So the cleanliness and pollution free environment is to be persuaded. The civic sense is to be improved regarding the health, hygiene etc. The Govt., Govt. Machinery. Companies Health Dept., Hospitals, Doctors, Nurses, Staff, Patients and their relative with the society at large have the ethical responsibilities to be carried out.
