The sum of two opposite angles of a parallelogram is 130°. Find all the angles of the parallelogram.

Answer»

Given, one of the adjacent angle ∠A = 130°

Other adjacent angle ∠B be = x°

We know that sum of adjacent angles = 180°

x° + 130° = 180°

x° = 180° – 130°

= 50°

∠B = x° = 110°

We know that measure of opposite angles are equal in a parallelogram.

So, ∠A = ∠C = 130°

And ∠D = ∠B = 50°
