Answer» There are different types of forests found in different regions of India due to variations in climatic condition and uneven rainfall. On one hand, Evergreen forests are found in western Himalayas and in the western and eastern slopes of Western Ghats, and on the other hand, Autumn Forests are found in the north – western plains and mid and low areas of Ganga. With the change in amount of rainfall, pattern of forests also changes. In western Rajasthan, Dry forests are found du,e to minimum amount of rainfall. |
