Answer»

Answer :-

Anaphase :-

  • In general terms, Anaphase can be defined as the 3RD STAGE of Mitotic division of a cell.

  • During the process of Anaphase, the chromatids get separated from each other.

  • Chromosomes get separated and start becoming distinct in the Anaphase.

  • The spindle fibres undergo contraction in the Anaphase.

  • "Anaphase", in mitotic division, is SIGNIFICANT as it helps in passing on the same NUMBER of chromosomes and half the number of chromatids to the daughter organisms (Progeny).

  • Anaphase is the SHORTEST of the four phases in terms of duration.
