Three reasons why the author\'s grandmother was disturbed when he started going to the city school |
Answer» The grandmother was a religious lady who loved to read scriptures and tell the beads of the rosary. When her grandson told her about the subjects being taught at school, she felt offended and reacted strangely. According to her, music was a monopoly of harlots and beggars.<br>When author started going to school grandma was disturbed by following reasons i)she was no more able to drop her grandson to school as he was used go by bus,ii) when grandson told her regarding music classes she became all the more upset as according to her music was lewd association which was meant only for beggars ,iii) as she was a religious person the fact that no teaching to god almighty is done at school made she sad and as well as she was unable to teach her grandson the teaching of school regarding sciences,English etc.,.<br>Because now she did not go with her grandson to his school, in the English school there are no classes of god, there are the classes of English, science which she did not taught to her grandson, there are classes of music which she did not like because she thinks music is for the low caste not for the high class | |
