Answer» oy Mutiny or the Revolt of 1857 was an unsuccessful attempt of Indians against the BRITISH. This was the first attempt made by the Indian soldiers but they failed.This mutiny BEGAN due to the use of cartridges made of cow and pig, which was anti religious for the Hindu as well as Muslim soldiers. This FIRE against the use of such cartridges increased and took a SHAPE of revolt.
