Acceleration of m₂ is a₂ = 12 m/s²

Force acting of m₂ is F₂ = m₂ a₂

F₂ = 4 × 12 = 48N

but F₂ = F₁

∴ Force acting on m₁ is F₁ = 48N

∴ Acceleration of m₁ = a₁ =\(\frac{F_1}{m_1}\)

a₁ = \(\frac{48}{3}\)

= 16 m/s²

Acceleration of the other body ax = 16 m/s²
