∴ (2x – 5) + (2x -5) + x = 55

⇒ 5x – 10 = 55

⇒ 5x = 65

⇒ x = \(\frac{65}5\)

∴ x = 13m

2x – 5 = 2 × 13 – 5 = 26 – 5 = 21m.

∴ The lengths of three sides of a triangle are 13, 21, 21. (in m.)
