>> SOLUTION :

Applying Law Of CONSERVATION of Momentum, 

→ m₁u₁ + m₂u₂ = m₁v₁ + m₂v₂

→ (35 × 2) + (10 × -3) = (35 × 0.75) + 10v₂ 

→ v₂ = (70 - 30 - 26.3) ÷ 10

→ v₂ = 1.4 m/s (EAST)

>> THEREFORE,

Final velocity (v₂) = 1.4 m/s (EAST)
