Answer» Rivers and lakes have many economic benefits, few of which are:1. They provide water for irrigation of agricultural fields.2. They provide water for pisciculture, which sustain many livelihoods.3. They provide Real estate(shore front property) which are comparitively more expensive than off-shore property. Thus increase in tax revenue.4. They provide places of tourism. e.g. Dal lake5. Rivers provide routes for transportation. |
