What are amphibians ? How are they adapted for such mode of life ? |
Answer» These are first vertebrates to invade land, but they have not fully adapted to terrestrial life. They inhabit damp places and breed in water. These animals have pentadactyl limbds for movement on land , eyelids and tear glands for protecting eyes on land, middle ear to transmit aerial sound waves to the internal ear, true tongue to capture food , internal nares and lungs for breathing. |
