Answer» The rock which are formed by the cooling and solidification of magma or lava on the surface of the earth re known as “Extrusive Igneous rocks”. These rocks are also called volcanic rocks, as they are formed during volcanic eruption. No crystals are formed in these rocks due to rapid cooling of lava; basalt is typical example of this kind of rock. ‘ |
