Answer» Seeds of crops from which oil can be extracted are called oilseeds. Groundnut, til, soya bean, castor, mustard, sunflower, etc. are its examples. Oilseeds hold a very important place in Indian meals. After extracting edible oil from the oilseeds, the remaining material is known as oil-cake. Oil-cake is used as animal fodder and also as biotic manure.
