Answer» Specialised connective tissue includes tendons and ligaments, Bone and Cartilage, haemopoetic tissue, blood and adipose tissue. Bone contains Osteocytes, and osteoblasts (osteo - bone) which secrete the type of extracellular matrix material (ECM) that makes up bone. (i) Cartilage- made up of chondrocytes and collagen fibres. (ii) Bones- ground substance is rich in calcium salts and collagen fibres. Osteocytes are present In lacunae. (iii) Blood- fluid connective tissue, consists of plasma and blood cells-RBC, WBC and platelets |
