1.

What are structural Isomers? Name the products formed when an acid reacts with base.

Answer»

Answer:

Structural isomer is another compound whose molecule has the same number of atoms of each element with DISTINCT bonds between them.

Anytime an acid REACTS with a BASE SALT and water is produced.

for example

HCl + NaOH > NaCl +  H2O

HCL= is the acid here ( remember it is in the aqueous state)

NaOH = is the base here but specifically an ALKALI

H20 = as you already know is water.

Note that an alkali is a soluble base, and that all alkali are bases but not all bases are alkali
