Keep yourself safe while using barbell, otherwise there are chances of getting trapped under it. Another disadvantage is causing injury to your own body. When you fail to maintain control while exercising, there are chances of sprain or strain. Use of heavy weight causes internal injury. Stiffness in muscles is a common problem. Weight training also leads to muscle cramps because of imbalance in the level of electrolytes and dehydration.
