If you have to go further with your input force, than the object is moved, then your advantage is increased. If you go twice as far, you should expect an advantage of 2. Three times further, the advantage should be 3. Simple as that. Anything you do to make your force go a long way when the machine force goes only a short way because of it will make your advantage greater. |
