What are the reasons for the failure of Bohr\'s model

Answer» It was unable to explain the spectrum for atoms other than h atom or mulch electron atom
1. It fails to account for the finer detail of the H atom spectrum observed by using sophisticated spectroscopic techniques.
The reasons of the failure of the Bohr\'s Model as a follows :.... 1. It fails to account for the finer details of the hydrogen atom spectrum observedby using sophisticated sepctroscopic techniques. 2. This model is also unable to explain the spectrum of the atoms other than hydrogen, for example helium atom which possesses only two electrons. 3. Bohr\'s theory was also unable to explain the splitting of spectral lines in the presence of magnetic field or electric field (Zeeman and stark effect). 4.It could not explain the ability of atoms to form molecules by chemical bonds.
